The Objects of Connect are:
(a) To enable positive change to North-Western Australia through the advancement of education and by various means therein, create employment, economic enterprises and vocational opportunities.
(b) To assist government and non-government agencies and the private sector in planning and redeploying existing resources towards the economic development of North-Western Australia, through active regional, national, and international cooperation and consultation.
(c) To facilitate rapid evolution, network expansion, adaptation and interaction for all involved parties through the co-ordinating of meetings, conferences and forums.
Connect North-West Inc. (Connect)
Connect is a Western Australian-based charity, registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission (ACNC). The ACNC classifies Connect’s charitable purposes as ‘Advancing education’, and being for, ‘Any other purpose beneficial to the general public that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to, or within the spirit of, any of the [ACNC’s other eleven charitable] subtype purposes.’

Connect understands that with the ECTA and the IPEF Agreements increasingly defining the Indo-Pacific’s economic framework, regional food security will increasingly rely upon meaningful Austral-Indus dialogues occurring between the private sector and government agencies of India and Western Australia.
How to become a Member
Becoming am Ordinary Member of Connect North-West Inc. (Connect), is easy. Depending upon your preferences, membership subscriptions are monthly, or annual.
Monthly membership subscriptions are AUD $50.00 per month. Annual Subscriptions are AUD $500.00 per annum. NB. There is no penalty involved in your cancelling a monthly subscription. Prior to the end of your final month of membership, simply send an email notifying Connect of your cancelling your monthly subscription.
To join Connect:
- Fill in the ‘Consent’ form (download form here)
- Forward the form to info@connect.northwest.org, and
- Upon receipt of Connect acknowledging your Membership, pay your elected subscription fee to the following account.
